The Regulators Fife & Drum Corps proudly carry American flags the wave in the wind as we march our parades guarded by sabers. We also have a corps flag that can be seen flying near our muster site when camping.
Our fife line prefers the sound of the two piece flute-like wooden instruments called fifes - McDonough's - some six hole, some ten. The original McDonough fife was designed by John McDonough and made by renowned piccolo maker Roy Seaman. Through the years, the manufacturer has changed. Currently the fifes are being produced through the Cooperman Drum Company.
Cooperman also created our snare and bass drums both with Kevlar drum heads. These beautiful and sturdy rope tension drums endure the Regulators strong street sound and enhance the Regulators concert performances.
